PinMySpot help

Drop a pin where you parked, then find your way back to it.

What this does

Saves exactly where you are with one tap, so you can find it again later. Made for car parks, festivals, unfamiliar streets, and enormous shopping centres.

How to use it

  1. Tap to save your spot when you park.
  2. Add a note if it helps, such as a level or a row number.
  3. When you want to go back, open it and follow the direction and distance.

Underground car parks

Location comes from satellites, and concrete blocks them. Inside a multi-storey your position may be inaccurate or unavailable.

The practical fix is to save the spot as you walk out into the open, and add a note with the level and row. The note is what actually saves you.

Your privacy Your saved location stays in your browser on this device. It is not uploaded, there is no account, and nobody is tracking where you park.

Common questions

Does it work without a signal?
Saving and viewing a spot works offline, since satellite positioning does not need mobile data. A map image may not load.
Can I save more than one place?
Yes, and a note makes them easy to tell apart.
Why is the position slightly off?
Consumer positioning is accurate to a handful of metres at best, and worse among tall buildings. It gets you to the right area, not the exact bay.
